The ASCER Tile of Spain Awards in Architecture and Interior Design were created to honor excellence in the two fields and have grown to a reach well beyond the boundaries of their native Spain.
This year, awards went to professionals and students for their creative, effective use of tile in projects varying from a Teacher Training College where ceramic tiles from the exterior were brought into the interior of the building as well to the remodeling of an outdoor plaza where earth-toned materials were used to create a serene environment.
