Trove wallcoverings are set to join the illustrious crowd in the Decorative Arts Collection at the Brooklyn Museum. Six of the company's patterns, including those shown here, have been selected for inclusion in the permanent collection.
With less than a decade on the scene, Trove has acquired quite a following and the museum space confirms their role as an historic player in the history of wallpaper and design in general. Trove was founded in 2006 by Jee Levin and Randall Buck who set out to apply an artistic approach to wallcoverings, treating the wall as an oversized canvas. The results have been an ongoing series of compelling imagery ranging from birds in flight to elegant opera goers.
