Royal Botania kept its tag line of “outdoor luxury” in mind when creating the D-Lux line of products. The seating series was developed with ergonomics, geometry and comfort as its foundation, along with a bit of inspiration from the female form.
Ergonomic Seating
The chair and lounger (shown here in red) are constructed of a rigid aluminum plate and consist of multiple concave and convex shapes that take their cues from the curves of the female body. The effort creates seating that gently hugs the body and manages to feel personalized.
All contours for the seating are laser cut and placed into individual jigs to accommodate the varying radiuses of the curves. Several stages of pressing curves create the final shape of each chair which is then stabilized via an aluminum rib.
Coordinating Table
The modern D-Lux chair finds its perfect partner in Royal Botania’s DLX300 wide table. The table, like the seating, is the right combination of form and function. Its design mimics the sleek lines of the chair, while the aluminum frame and Corian tabletop are perfect for withstanding the elements that go along with entertaining al fresco.
